GO FOR YOUR GUNS
This song was written as a tribute to my favorite classic movie star of all times, John Wayne. It is based on the great roles he played on screen in westerns in such films as The Shootist, & El Dorado. The song is also a reflection of some personal experiences I have had, during some crazy times, that to a degree somewhat mirror outlawish "adventures" for lack of a better word. But mostly, it tells of how a way of life is coming to an end. The song's story symbolically expresses this, while colorfully paying respects to a true film legend.
