Longtime friend of Reno West, George & Reno as a songwriting team have a collection of well over 200 songs together, aside from Reno's massive solo works. George also has solo works that are outstanding. Occasionally you will see on Legend Heart CD's, songs with George's name next to Reno's. "I treasure the years that George and I played and wrote together, and consider it among the best moments of my life" says Reno. George is also an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, and plays a mean harmonica.
Todd Perrine's input as an advisor on the first project was greatly appreciated and helpful. His experience comes from years as a professional musician. A trained pianist, who also plays drums, bass, and guitar, Todd has had some "memorable" experiences with certain major labels, and has been through quite a bit. He is also a close friend of Reno, and has played and performed with him.
Mick Holiday is Reno's family. Mick's roots in music began many years back. He is a great vocalist and energetic performer, that brings the sound of Rock-A-Billy & The great sounds of the fifties to life & into present day with a modern yet nostalgic magic. He is also a very good songwriter and harmonica player. This is evident on the second CD, through the haunting rocker "Can You Ever Go Home Again".
Margie Panko who co-wrote "Nightfall Over The Skies And Seas" with Reno West for Legend Heart's second CD, is a superb and imaginative lyricist. Now into her writing, Margie once performed as a singer, with a voice that ranks as one of the greatest rock & roll singing sensations to ever to bless a stage. Margie is a beloved childhood best friend of Reno's, and is family to him. Look forward to more great collaborations.
Quoting Reno, "Caitlin is an incredible and gifted flutist and singer, as well as stunningly beautiful inside and out". Caitlin has occasionally rehearsed & joined the band on stage. Caitlin studied music from a young age, and has made it her career. Classical & Jazz are among her favorite styles.
Dave's musical influences are in Reggae, Jazz, & Rock. His ability to play creatively from many styles of music was a great addition when Dave, who is also a friend, performed on CD 2, and played live with the band occasionally. His dad is a musician, as well as his brother, so the talent runs in his family. Dave plays several different types of bass and world instruments, and uses a bow occasionally as well. He has a great personality, and his talent is valued greatly.
Mark is a friend, and an exceptional engineer, who also happens to be a musician. This gives him excellent insight on how to help create and structure a professional music project. His skills also excel in the area of ideas for musical arrangement and audio creativity. Mark has literally pulled off some engineering techniques that saved hours of re-recording and editing. His contributions as an engineer and helpful suggestions on the first project, have been a big plus for the debut CD.
